How to play Number Recall
Bring your attention to one round of Number Recall. Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Use the example below to understand a decision. Check the rule that explains your first action. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.
A careful first round
Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal. Keep the objective visible.
Your goal
Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. The example below illustrates a decision.
Step by step
- Select Start again to begin.
- Memorise the displayed number without entering it yet.
- After it disappears, type the number into the answer field.
- Choose Check number; a correct answer opens the next round.
Controls
Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Use one clear input at a time.
A useful example
If the number is 3072, enter all four digits in order. Entering 372 misses the zero. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Notice the change in the playing area.
Watch out for this
This is a memory game, not a clinical assessment. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
